Cabinet Wendorff I
The Wendorff I cabinet formed the state government of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from November 9, 1918 to February 22, 1919 .
On November 8, 1918, Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV dismissed the State Ministry Dr. Langfeld and appointed the new State Ministry on November 9, 1918. The ministry, consisting of representatives of the majority parties in the Reichstag, was also known as the Mecklenburg People's Government at the time of its formation, and later again as the State Ministry. The division of responsibilities of the ministry was established on November 11, 1918. After the Grand Duke's abdication on November 14, 1918, the appointed Ministry of State remained in office until February 22, 1919. The Wendorff I cabinet was both the last government of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and the first republican government in the state.
