Helge bei der Wieden
Helge Bei der Wieden (born July 4, 1934 in Eitorf ; † January 8, 2012 in Bückeburg ) was a German high school teacher and historian .
At Wieden attended the large city school in Rostock from 1944 to 1953 . Until 1960 he studied history, German and Scandinavian philology, philosophy as well as prehistory and early history in Rostock , Göttingen and Freiburg . Until 1996 he was in school service in Cuxhaven and Bückeburg. The Lower Saxony archivist Brage bei der Wieden is one of his sons.
In 1984, Helge bei der Wieden founded the Association for Mecklenburg History and Archeology as a legally dependent working group under the umbrella of the Mecklenburg Foundation and was involved in its re-establishment in 1991. He was a founding member and from 1990 to 2002 chairman of the Historical Commission for Mecklenburg . At Wieden he had been a member of the Fritz Reuter Society since 1979 .
