Kabnur is a census town in the Indian state of Maharashtra . It is located near Ichalkaranji .

The settlement is part of the Kolhapur district . Kabnur has the status of a Census Town . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had a total of 38,146 inhabitants, of which 19,946 were men and 18,200 were women. Hindus form the largest group of the city's population with a share of approx. 72%, followed by Muslims with approx. 21% and Jainas with approx. 5%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 86.56%.
