Kabuscorp - Futebol Clube do Palanca is a football club from Luanda , the capital of Angola . The association belongs to Bento dos Santos "Kangamba", usually called Bento Kangamba for short, Lieutenant General of the Reserve of the Angolan Army and also known as "Entrepreneur of the Youth" ( o empresario da Juventude ). He is also the son-in-law and 2012 campaign manager of José Eduardo dos Santos , the president of the oil-rich country. "Kabuscorp" is an abbreviation for "Kangamba Business Corporation". Another part of the name of the association is represented by the heraldic animal, an antelope ( Portuguese Palanca ), and references a district of Luanda with this name. The coat of arms inscription Kabuscorp Futebol Clube do Sambizanga indicates another district.

The club was founded in 1994 and rose to the first division of Angola, the Girabola , after the 2007 season . Initially, the club occupied places at the bottom of the table. In 2009, Kabuscorp was only able to hold the class as twelfth in the competition at that time due to a relegation round that was held because the league was increased to 16 clubs. After an eighth place the year before, Kabuscorp was runner-up in 2011, just one point behind CRD Libolo from Calulo .

For the 2012 season, the Brazilian world champion from 2002 and world footballer of the year 1999, the 39-year-old Rivaldo, joined the club. Despite other offers, he followed an alleged "call" from an unspecified "god" to join the association. His salary is unknown.

In the Girabola 2013 , Kabuscorp was the first time in the club's history of Angolan champions.

Stadion

Kabuscorp SC originally played home games in the Estadio São Paulo and later in the Estadio Municipal Dos Coqueiros , which opened in 1947 and , after a renovation in 2005, can seat 12,000 spectators. Until the end of 2012, Kabuscorp will play in the former large stadium Estádio da Cidadela Desportiva, which is limited to 35,000 spectators due to its dilapidation .

Kabuscorp is aiming to build its own stadium that will seat between 20,000 and 25,000 spectators. For this purpose, a site near the production center of the state television broadcaster TPA in the Camama district is said to have already been leveled.
