The Kahlanger-Schanze is a ski jumping hill in Oberaudorf , Bavaria .

history

In 1999 the Kahlanger ski jump was renovated. The Willy Sachs Cup takes place there every January . This is an international competition. In 2004/2005 a Continental Cup for women took place on the hill. The normal hill is not covered with plastic mattings. She no longer has an FIS certificate.

Besides it there are also three junior hills: K35, K18, K9. The junior hills are called Hocheckschanzen , all three are covered with plastic mattings and were renovated in 2009. The jumps are located in the Hocheck ski area . The summer toboggan run runs through the Kalanger-Schanze directly under the inrun tower .

In 2013 it was suggested to level the large hill and to build a lookout tower from it. This was finally rejected in July 2013 after protests.
