Kai Fuhrmann

Kai Fuhrmann (born February 6, 1994 in Dresden ) is a former German rower . In 2014 he won bronze in a quadruple scull at the World and European Championships.

Athletic career

Kai Fuhrmann from the Laubegaster rowing club won the double scull title at the 2011 Junior World Championships together with Denis Sittel , and his second title at the 2012 Junior World Championships together with Ole Daberkow. In 2013 the two-meter man competed for the first time at the U23 World Championships . Together with Patrick Leineweber , Ruben Steinhardt and Ole Daberkow, he won the bronze medal in the four-four. In 2014 Fuhrmann moved up to the double quad in the adult class. Together with Karl Schulze , Philipp Wende and Tim Grohmann , he took part in theEuropean Championships in Belgrade took third place behind the Ukrainians and the British. At the World Championships in Amsterdam, the Ukrainians also won ahead of the British and the Germans. In 2015 Fuhrmann lost his place in the German quad scull. At the U23 World Championships in 2015 he finished seventh and in 2016 sixth place in the quadruple sculls.
