Kai Lorenz

Kai Lorenz (* 1966 / 1967 in Neumünster ) is a former German basketball official .

Life

Lorenz, who completed an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk, played for the American football team of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes for seven years , but had to end his sports career due to a torn cruciate ligament . Professionally, he worked for the Munich- based television production company Plaza-Media . At the beginning of April 2001 he took on the managerial position at the basketball Bundesliga club BCJ Hamburg  . At the end of August 2001, his service with the basketball club, which after relegating to the Bundesliga, could no longer pay a full-time manager.
