Kai Niemann (born February 8, 1978 in Sangerhausen ) is a German musician.

Life

In 2001 he became known nationwide with the single Im Osten , which reached number 4 in the German charts and was awarded a gold record . In the East , around 300,000 copies were sold and sparked discussions about East German identities and the relationship between East and West Germans.

In the following years Niemann published further material. In 2015 he and his band 108 Fahrenheit presented the album Mein Herz .

Kai Niemann played a role in the television series Die Rettungsflieger in 2000 and took part in the television series The Harald Schmidt Show , Volle Kanne in 2001 and MDR at 4 in 2016 .
