MDR at 4
MDR at 4 is the afternoon magazine in the MDR television program , which is broadcast from Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
history
On January 6, 1997, the station began broadcasting the afternoon magazine under the title here from four . Initially produced in Dresden , when the new MDR building was completed in 2000, the company moved to Leipzig . Since then the program has been restructured several times, the last change happened on January 6, 2014. After more than 4100 broadcasts, the program was renamed by 4 in MDR . A new studio, with the design of a lounge, was one of the innovations. The program is produced and broadcast in HD.
Until the end of June 2009, two moderators led through the two-hour program, alternating weekly . Since the end of July 2009 there has been a weekly change of moderator. The airtime is still filled with news, tabloids and short reports from the broadcasting area, as well as various advice and service formats.
Interlocutors, including celebrities, are introduced daily in the format guests for coffee . Viewers can get in touch with them by phone.
