Anja Koebel (born March 6, 1968 in Dresden , GDR ) is a German radio and television presenter . She has been the presenter of Sachsenspiegel since 1997 and of the afternoon magazine MDR at 4:00 on MDR television since 2014 .

Life

After completing an apprenticeship at the medical college, Koebel first worked for a few years as a dental assistant in a clinic before completing her A- levels at a college in Freiberg. As a result, she first studied art history , history and German at the Technical University of Dresden before taking up a degree in journalism and communication studies at the Free University of Berlin . After completing this, she began working as an author and editor at the radio station MDR 1 Radio Sachsen in 1992 , where she later also worked as a presenter. In 1997 she switched to MDR television, where she became the presenter of the regional news magazine Sachsenspiegel .

Until 2014, Koebel alternated with Anja Petzold and Andreas Fritsch to present the weekly magazine show from two , before becoming the MDR presenter at 4 in 2014 . Her successor in the show from two , which was renamed MDR by 2 , was taken over by Kamilla Senjo .

Anja Koebel lives in Dresden and is married.
