Kai Schmidhuber

Kai Schmidhuber (born April 1, 1982 in Düsseldorf ) is a German manager .

Education and career

Schmidhuber studied economics at the University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management and graduated with a diploma. In addition to German, he also speaks fluent English and French.

Schmidhuber started at Henkel in Düsseldorf in 2005 as a corporate identity consultant. He later claimed responsibility for the global corporate branding within the corporate communications . In 2010 Schmidhuber moved to DeutschePostDHL and was most recently Vice President responsible for European product development. In 2016 he switched to Fraport AG , which operates the Frankfurt Airport , among other things . As Senior Vice President, he was responsible for building up the multichannel business. He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of Media Frankfurt GmbH. He has been responsible for digital activities at L'Oréal Germany since December 2017 . He was appointed Chief Digital Officer there. He has been a mentor at Quadriga University Berlin since 2018 . Since February 2019 he has also been on the board of the Marketing Club Düsseldorf. Schmidhuber founded the internet company "Wunschkeks" in 2004. The company sells customized fortune cookies . He is also the managing director of a consulting company Ai-Retail that he founded, which specializes in digitalization consulting for the aviation industry. Schmidhuber is in demand worldwide as a speaker.
