Kaibab is a census-designated place in Mohave County in the northwest of the US state Arizona , the so-called Arizona Strip . 275 inhabitants (as of 2000 census) live on an area of 490.9 km². The population density is 0.6 / km². The village is part of the Kaibab Paiute Indian Reservation and is north of Arizona State Route 389 .
