The Kaipan 16 is a roadster from the Czech car manufacturer Kaipan that has been sold since 2012. The two-seater uses largely the VW Polo V . The 1.2 liter four-cylinder engine also comes from the Polo. The engine has an output of 77 kW (105 hp) and a maximum torque of 175 Nm. In order to achieve the lowest possible weight, the body of the Kaipan 16, like that of the weaker Kaipan 14, is made of plastic .
