Kaj Kajander
Kaj Kajander (born October 22, 1924 in Helsinki , † January 10, 1991 ibid) was a Finnish heraldist .
Life
Kajander studied mathematics and science at the University of Helsinki . In the army he was a reserve lieutenant. He was a founding member of the Heraldic Society of Finland alongside the heraldist Ahti Hammar in 1957.
He designed and revised many Finnish municipal coats of arms . His role model in the field was the heraldist Gustaf von Numers .
