Development of the Kajukenbo

In the development he had the support of other masters of various martial arts , Choo ( Korean Karate - Dangsudo ), Holeck ( Kōdōkan (Jūdō) ) and Chang ( Kung Fu ). In 1947 and 1949, these instructors worked together and slowly developed the Kajukenbo style. The change happened in 1959 when Adriano Emperado combined Shaolin martial arts with Kajukenbo.

This gentle style puts more emphasis on the Kenpo elements in Kajukenbo, and its basis is the connection between the northern and southern styles of Chinese martial arts. The northern styles, characterized by long, sweeping techniques, and the southern styles, characterized by short, narrow, hard and soft infight techniques, became a martial art that encompasses all these elements, combined with an applicable self-defense .
