Kalle Lasn
Kalle Lasn (* 1942 in Tallinn , Estonia ) is the founder of the Adbusters Media Foundation and CEO of Blackspot Anticorporation . Lasn shot numerous documentaries and commercials, for example about the disappearance of the rainforests in the Pacific Northwest . However, the television stations refused to broadcast his spots, which led him to found the Adbusters Media Foundation - an organization that advocates for publicly available airtime. In 1999 Lasn published the work Culture Jamming, which is critical of society and consumerism .
In 2004 Lasn published an article in "Adbusters" in which he criticized American neoconservatives , using anti-Semitic stereotypes. In the article there was a list of prominent Neocons in which the Jewish names were specially marked. When offended, Lasn denied himself to be an anti-Semite and pretended not to understand this criticism.
