The Kamelryggen ( Norwegian for camel back ) is a press ice back on the Princess Astrid Coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises south of Werbljud Island and east of the Lazarev Ice Shelf .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it descriptively in 2016 after its appearance.
