The Kameralamt Großbottwar was an institution of the Kingdom of Württemberg , which administered property and income of the state in the administrative district. It existed in Großbottwar from 1807 to 1922 . The camera office was created as part of the reorganization of the state finance administration in the Kingdom of Württemberg.

Until 1810 the Kameralamt Großbottwar was called Kameralverwaltung Oberstenfeld zu Großbottwar . According to a ruling of March 22, 1837, the Großbottwar camera office took over the following places and hamlets from the disbanded Marbach camera office: Marbach with Siegelhausen, Affalterbach with Wolfsölden and Steinächle, Burgstall, Erbstetten, Erdmannhausen with the bow mill, Höpfigheim with the Beutenmühle, Kirchberg an der Murr with the Frühmeßhof , Hunzelhof and Wüstenbach, Murr, Pleidelsheim, Rielingshausen with Hinterbirkenhof, Steinheim an der Murr with Lehrhof and Vorderbirkenhof, Gollenhof and Heidenhof, as well as Hofkammerort Weiler zum Stein.
