Kami-sama no Memo-chō ( Japanese 神 様 の メ モ 帳 , Eng. "God's Notebook") is a light novel series by the Japanese author Hikaru Sugii , which is provided with illustrations by Mel Kishida .

It is about Alice, who lives as Hikikomori and tries to solve various crimes together with her friends, so-called NEETs , and her intellect. The series of novels has been published by ASCII Media Works since January 2007 under the imprint Dengeki Bunko . So far (as of November 2011) eight issues have appeared.

An adaptation as a manga has been published in the magazine Comic Dengeki Daiō since June 2010 (issue 8/2010) . From this two anthologies have appeared so far ( Tankōbon ).

An adaptation of the same name as an anime television series took place from July 2nd, 2011 to September 24th on AT-X . The first two episodes ran on the same day one after the other, as the transmission times had shifted after the Tōhoku earthquake and the usual rhythm should be restored. Tokyo MX , Chiba TV , TV Kanagawa , TV Saitama , MBS , CBC followed within two weeks. It was animated by Studio JCStaff under the direction of Katsushi Sakurabi .
