Kamil Janšta (March 6, 1971 - February 22, 1999 ) was a Czech football player .
Career
Janšta played for FC Zbrojovka Brno in his youth, before moving to Dukla Prague in 1990 . The defender made his debut in the top Czechoslovak league on the 18th matchday of the 1990/91 season. Dukla Prague lost 4-2 on March 17, 1991 away to 1. FC Tatran Prešov . In the following two playing years Janšta belonged to the regular formation of the Prague .
At the beginning of 1994 he was brought back from his former club, which had since been renamed Boby Brno , but was loaned to the then second division club Coring Bohumín at the beginning of the season . After half a year, the defender returned to Brno . In the 1995/96 season he did not play a single league game. In the summer of 1996 he was loaned for six months to the then second division Tatran Poštorná and then returned to Boby Brno.
For the 1997/98 season Janšta was committed by the Belgian first division club SK Beveren , which he helped to keep relegation in 25 missions. In the 1998/99 season he could no longer intervene in the game.
Kamil Janšta died on February 22, 1999 of complications from a brain tumor.
Czechoslovak Olympic selection
On November 12, 1991 Kamil Janšta came to his first and only assignment in the Olympic team of the then ČSFR. The Czechoslovaks drew 1-1 with Spain in Mérida . Ultimately, the selection failed to qualify for the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona . Spain, however, later became Olympic champion.
