In warmer countries or in regions with widespread timber construction (e.g. Scandinavia , USA ), on the other hand, people are used to pest problems in private houses. The presence of pest controllers is considered a sign of correct hygiene and is shown, also by conspicuous work uniforms and vehicles (e.g. with a fiberglass cockroach on the roof).
