Kamnitsa (German Kamnitza ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in southeast Estonia . It belongs to the rural parish of Võru in Võru county (until 2017 Orava rural parish in Põlva county ).

Population, location and history

The village has eight residents (as of December 31, 2011). It is located 28 kilometers northeast of the city of Võru .

The 8.8 kilometer long Kamnitsa Oja stream flows near the center of the village .

The place was first mentioned in 1630 under the name Kamitza .
