Canadian badlands
The Canadian Badlands ( Canadian Badlands ) is a Badlands -Landscape in southeastern Alberta . It extends along the Red Deer River , east of Calgary , and is one of the most important sites of dinosaurs - fossils . North of Brooks is the the UNESCO World Heritage part of Dinosaur Provincial Park . In Drumheller is one of the world's biggest dinosaur museums, the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology .
Also in Ontario are the Cheltenham Badlands , hidden in the Caledon Hills . In the south of Saskatchewan there are the Big Muddy Badlands which extend to northern Montana ( United States ) over the Big Muddy Creek (a tributary of the Missouri River ).
