The Kandik River is a 132 km long right tributary of the Yukon River in eastern Alaska and the Canadian Yukon Territory .

It rises in the Canadian territory of the Yukon, after a few kilometers crosses the border with Alaska, flows southwest and flows into the Yukon River in the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve .

The native name for the river was documented by Lieutenant Frederick Schwatka in 1885 . It is also known as Charley or Charlie Creek , named after a former settlement on the estuary.
