The Kanjiroba is a 6883 m high mountain in the Himalayas in the west of Nepal .
Kanjiroba, located in the province of Karnali , is the highest point in the Kanjiroba Himal massif . The mountain lies on the border of the two districts of Mugu and Dolpa . The Saipal (7031 m) rises 124 km further west-northwest , while the western foothills of the Dhaulagiri Himal massif are 55 km south.
The first ascent of Kanjiroba was achieved by a Japanese expedition from Osaka University in 1971 over the southeast ridge.
