Kantabanji is a city in the Indian state of Odisha .
It is the main town in Tehsil of the same name in the Balangir district . In 2011, just under 22,000 people lived in Kantabanji. Kantabanji has the status of a Notified Area Council . The city has a railway station on the route from Raipur to Titlagarh .
