Kanube is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for 2013, there are around 680 inhabitants, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 531.

geography

Kanube is located in the Upper River Region (URR) District Fulladu East . The place is located directly on the South Bank Road between Sotuma Sere and Allunhari , around 4.2 kilometers northeast of Sotuma Sere.

Culture and sights

Pre-historic pottery finds were made at Kanube.
