Sotuma Sere is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013 about 1094 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 855. The name of the place indicates that the founders of the place come from the Serahuli people .
geography
Sotuma Sere is located on the south bank of the Gambia River in the Upper River Region (URR), District Fulladu West . This is located on South Bank Road about 12 kilometers east of Basse Santa Su , the seat of the URR administrative unit. Bakadaji is around nine kilometers to the west on this road.
The Sotuma Bridge is about one kilometer east of Sotuma Sere .
