Bakadaji (spelling variants: Bakadagi , Bakadagi Nema or Bakadagy ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .

According to a calculation for the year 2013, about 2118 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1655.

geography

Bakadaji is located on the southern bank of the Gambia River in the Upper River Region (URR), District Fulladu West . This is located on South Bank Road about 22 kilometers west of Basse Santa Su , the seat of the URD administrative unit. To the east, Bakadaji is 34 kilometers from Bansang on this road.

Culture and sights

Two places of worship are known near Bakadaji , once four stone circles and then three menhirs.
