Pulpit in Belin-Béliet

The pulpit in the Catholic Church of St-Pierre in Belin-Béliet , a French parish in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the first half of the 19th century. In 2002 the pulpit was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The wooden pulpit was painted blue and the framed areas on the pulpit cage were designed with marbles. A staircase with balusters leads to the pulpit.

A dove, the symbol of the Holy Spirit, is painted on the underside of the hexagonal sound cover .
