Pulpit in Yzeure

The pulpit in the church of St-Pierre in Yzeure , a French commune in the Allier department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region , was created in 1623. In 1907 the pulpit was classified as a monument historique .

The oak pulpit, which is marked with the year 1623, had four carved figures of the evangelists on the pulpit , one of which was stolen. The sound cover is decorated with carvings of architectural elements.
