Kaori Inoue ( Japanese 井上 香 織 , Inoue Kaori ; born October 21, 1982 in Izushi (today: Toyooka ), Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a Japanese volleyball player . She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics.

Career

Inoue began her career at the prefectural Hikami High School in what is now Tamba . In 2001 she came to what is now her association, Denso Airybees . In 2008 she became the Japanese runner-up. The following year, the middle blocker made her debut in the Japanese national team , with which she finished third at the 2009 Asian Cup . In 2010 she won the Japanese Cup with Denso Airybees. Then she reached third place with the national team at the World Cup . In 2012 Inoue took part in the London Olympics and won the bronze medal.
