The Cape Barne is a steep cliff-like cape , which is 120 m high between Cape Royds and Cape Evans on the west side of the Antarctic Ross Island rises.
It was discovered by participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . It is named after Michael Barne (1877–1961), an expedition member who is also the namesake for the Barne Glacier .
