The Cape Borley is an icy cape , which only slightly on the coast of the East Antarctic Enderbylands in the Kooperationssee projects. It is located halfway between Cape Batterbee and Magnet Bay .
It was discovered in 1930 during the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . This named the cape after the British oceanographer John Oliver Borley (1872-1938), who belonged to the committee of the British Discovery Investigations and had helped Mawson to use the RRS Discovery for his expedition.
