The Cape Disappointment ( Swedish Besvikelsens Cape ) is a cape on the Oscar-II. coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the eastern extension of the Akra Peninsula between Exasperation Inlet in the north and Scar Inlet in the south.

Participants in the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) led by Otto Nordenskjöld discover it. Their attempts to reach the cape over jagged ice, had to her disappointment ( english disappointment are) terminated unsuccessfully.
