Cape Errera ( French Cap Errera ) is a cape that forms the southwestern end of Wiencke Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the transition from Bismarck-Strasse to Gerlache-Strasse
Participants of the Belgica expedition (1897–1899) discovered the cape. The expedition leader Adrien de Gerlache de Gomery named it after the Belgian botanist Léo Errera (1858–1905), his brother, the lawyer Paul Errera (1858–1922), and the brother's wife, the historian Isabelle Errera (1869–1929), who had supported the expedition financially.
