Cape Fiske is a cape on the Lassiter Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It marks the eastern end of the Smith Peninsula and at the same time the southeast boundary of the entrance to Keller Inlet .
It was photographed during an overflight during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) in December 1940. Additional aerial photographs were taken during the Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (1947–1948), which carried out a survey of the area in collaboration with the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey performed. The expedition leader Finn Ronne named the cape after Clarence Oliver Fiske (1922-1992), a climatologist on the expedition.
