Cape Hickey is a cape on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . To the east of Charcot Cove and the Marin Glacier, it marks the northern end of the mouth of the Mawson Glacier into the Ross Sea .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after John Hickey of the United States Navy , who was involved in the so-called Topo-North-and-South land survey work in 1962 as a pilot of the VX-6 flight squadron.
