Cape Obelisk is a cape on the west coast of James Ross Island, northeast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It limits the entrance to Röhss Bay to the north and the southern entrance to the Prinz Gustav Canal to the east.

The cape was discovered during the Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1901–1903) under the direction of Otto Nordenskjöld . He named it after the conspicuous rock formation in the style of an obelisk , which rises about 3 km inland of the cape and can be seen from the north-west or the south.
