The Bahía Heynen is a side bay of Röhss Bay on the southwest coast of James Ross Island east of the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located between Molley Corner and the Cape Obelisk .

Argentine scientists named it after the radio operator Adrián Enrique Heynen, who died on March 22, 1950 following an Antarctic flight when an Avro Lincoln B019 crashed in Chile .
