Chapel in Parleiten

The chapel in Parleiten , a district of the town of Geisenfeld in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , was built in 1884. The chapel at Fahlenbacher Straße 17 is one of the protected architectural monuments in Bavaria.

The neo-Gothic chapel was built by the builder Wieser from Kelheim on behalf of the Finkenzeller family .

The plastered gable roof building with drawn-in, three-sided closed choir and facade tower with pointed helmet is flat-roofed in the interior. The choir has a rib vault .

The neo-Gothic carved altar was designed by the Munich architect Josef Elsner.
