Gatzweiler Chapel

The chapel "Zum Hl. Josef " belongs to the parish of St. Rochus. It is free-standing on all sides and its facade borders the street that passes by.
The structure was built in 1853. It was entered under No. G 023 on June 2, 1987 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach . The little church is worth protecting as an honor chapel and due to its age.
architecture
The Josefskapelle is made of brick and has a detached plaster base. The street side has a bluestone wall and a gable decoration suggested by inclined stone . The roof is tiled and slated and has a ridge turret with a cross and a cock.
