The chapel Genhodder is in the district Genhodder in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).

The structure was built in 1825. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach on June 2, 1987 under No. G 024 .

The chapel “Zum hl. Trinity ”belongs to the parish of St. Rochus. The Honschaftskapelle is worth protecting as a testimony to peasant worship at the original location.

architecture

The small half-timbered building dates from 1825. It is three compartments long and five on the sides, and eight compartments high at the back and front due to the shape of the roof . The compartments are lined with brick . The building is covered by a tiled roof with slate on the verges and ridge . A small slate roof turret with a cross and a weather valve sits on the roof. The chapel was repaired in 1964.
