Kappa Kappa Gamma

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kappa Kappa Gamma (ΚΚΓ) is an American student association founded by six young women in Illinois in 1870 .

Kappa is called Women's Fraternity because the word Sorority, in contrast to Fraternity (men's association), did not exist when it was founded.

"Kappa Kappa Gamma encompasses values of the ancient Greeks of goodness, truth, beauty and ethical life."
