The Karasuu ( Kyrgyz Кара-Суу ; meaning "black water") is a right tributary of the Naryn in Kyrgyzstan ( Central Asia ).

The Karasuu has its source in the At-Oinok Mountains in the Toktogul district of the Jalalabat region . Initially it flows in a westerly direction. Later he turns south. It takes in the tributaries of the Kodscha-Ata , Avletim and Akschol . Finally, 10 km north of the city of Taschkömür, it meets the Naryn, which is dammed up to form the Taschkömür reservoir . The middle and lower reaches of the Karasuu are in the Aksy district . The river has a length of 85 km. It drains an area of ​​2740 km². The mean discharge is 39.6 m³ / s.
