Karianne Væting (born March 11, 1975 ) is a former Norwegian biathlete .

Karianne Væting won the bronze medal in the relay race with Liv Grete Skjelbreid and Trude Harstad at the Biathlon Junior World Championships in 1994 in Osrblie . At the start of the 1997/1998 season in Lillehammer, she contested her first race in the Biathlon World Cup and finished this sprint race in 94th place.Shortly afterwards, she contested her last race in the highest racing series with a single in Östersund and was 63.

Væting was more successful at the national level than internationally. In 1994 she won her first medal at the Norwegian championships with Gunn Margit Andreassen and Trude Harstad for the province of Aust-Agder , starting with bronze in the relay race. The years 1996 and 1997 were particularly successful when she won the titles with the team and the silver medals with the relays alongside Andreassen and Harstad.
