Klaus Kariegus

Klaus Kariegus (born April 14, 1962 ) is a former German ice hockey player who played in the 2nd Bundesliga for RSC Bremerhaven , EV Stuttgart and Heilbronner EC .

Player career

The 1.85 m tall defender was initially on the ice for RSC Bremerhaven in the 2nd Bundesliga and finally moved to the upper division EV Stuttgart in 1986 , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in their first season together. The defender played for the Swabians until the end of the 1990/91 season , after which he signed a contract with Heilbronner EC from the league. In 1995, Kariegus also rose to the HEC, which is now known as the “1. Liga ”, the second highest German league, but returned after the 1995/96 season to the now third-class EV Stuttgart, where he ended his career in 1997 .
