Lassina Abdoul Karim Konaté (also Lancina Karim Konaté and Karim Lancina ; born May 20, 1987 in Niamey ) is a Nigerien football player .

Career

Club stations

Konaté began his career in 2005 at the Nigerien club Sahel SC . He stayed there for two years, before moving to the Cameroonian club Cotonsport Garoua . There he only played one season before moving to the Libyan club al-Ittihad Tripoli in 2009. In 2010 he moved to the Tunisian club US Monastir. In the same year he moved back to Cotonsport Garoua, where he played for the club for three years. In March 2013 he left Cameroon to play for Lokomotiv Sofia. In August 2013 he signed a one-year contract with FC Metz , where he only made three professional league appearances. In the summer of 2014 he moved to the French third division club SAS Épinal free of charge .

National team

Konaté made his debut for the Nigerien national team in 2006 and has since played at least 45 games for his country. He was also part of the squad for the 2012 African Cup of Nations and the 2012 African Cup of Nations. He was also used in qualifying for the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
