Karim Soltani ( Arabic كريم سلطاني; * August 24, 1984 in Brest ) is an Algerian - French football player .

Career

Karim Soltani joined the youth department at Stade Brest at the age of 15 . After two years he moved to Le Havre AC .

He then moved to VVV-Venlo in 2005 , where he played his first league games as a professional.

In 2008 he was signed by ADO Den Haag .

In the summer of 2010 he moved to Greece to Iraklis Thessaloniki , but after one season he left the club again and signed a contract with the city's competitor Aris Thessaloniki .

After two years in Greece , he moved to the reigning Algerian champions ES Sétif in August 2012 . There his contract was canceled after only three months due to differences in the amount of his salary.

Shortly thereafter, he returned to Greece and joined Skoda Xanthi , where he signed a contract dated until June 2015. This was extended for another year in spring 2015.
