Karimah Katja Stauch

Karimah Katja Stauch (born January 31, 1969 in Munich ) is a German personality of Islam who is intensely committed to Christian-Muslim dialogue. She studied economics and Islamic studies and works full-time at Deutsche Welthungerhilfe in Bonn. She is the chair of the German Muslim League Bonn and European Coordinator as a member of the World Council of the United Religions Initiative (San Francisco, Antwerp / Brussels, Bonn).

She is a member of the council of the Sufi religious order As-Safinah (Arabic: Tariqat As-Safinah), which has its origins in North Africa.

She is one of the other signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( Engl. A Common Word Between Us and You ), the original 138 personalities of Islam to "Christian leader churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ... ") (October 13, 2007).

K.Stauch was a member of the board of the Christian-Islamic Society for a number of years .
